About Us

As Swamiji envisaged, our youths must be equipped with the modern science and technologies so that they can hold their own in the fast developing world today.

With this goal in mind, we have introduced professional level computer courses side-by-side regular computer courses at different levels to cater to the computer education amongst the students and to equip the professionals and job seekers to face the competitive world.

For day-to-day office work as well as academics, we offer two levels of Computer regular course: Office Basic - Beginner Course, and Office Expert - Advanced Course. Further, to meet the demands in the professional area we have introduced two more courses to reinforce the progress in career – DTP & Multimedia, FA & Tally.

With the development of electronic communication system, business industries and professional areas, career-building education and almost all fields in the society have taken a global shape. To face these challenges it is obvious that our youths need to equip themselves with modern education.

In view to give our youths an edge over others in their education and to equip them for the global competition, Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House & Cultural Centre started Spoken English and Computer Courses under the aegis of the School of Languages and Computer Education in 2005. Since then it has a record of consistently excellent academic results.

The humble beginning started with 300 students. Dedication of the faculty members, the ambiance and very personalized care saw the number of the students grow gradually. At present with the total roll strength of 3000, this institution continues its journey as a pioneer institution of Foreign Languages and Computer Education in north Kolkata.

With the popular acceptance of the courses, different levels of the Communicative English and Computer Courses including foreign languages like German and French and some other Indian languages like Sanskrit, Hindi and few professional standard courses had been introduced to meet the growing demands of the students as well as the professionals and job seekers.
